OGTV45 - Trump ends TPS for Haitians: Why does Amanda Seals want FBA to cape for them?
TRUMP ENDS TPS FOR HAITIANS and suddenly Amanda Seales wants Foundational Black Americans to cape for the Haitian community—but why? In this breakdown, we dig into why some influencers are pushing FBA to jump into every immigration fight, especially now that Trump, Haitians, TPS, and ICE enforcement are all trending topics. This video exposes the guilt-tripping tactics aimed at the FBA community, the attempts to rewrite our lineage, and the deliberate confusion being thrown on the delineation movement. As FBA continues the push for cash-based reparations, certain voices keep trying to shift our focus toward immigrant agendas. And when TPS ends, suddenly it’s “FBA, come save us”? Nah. We discuss how this manipulation works, why it’s targeted, and why reparations and delineation must stay at the center of our conversation. We also look at the political play behind promoting Amanda Seales as a spokesperson, how her narrative clashes with documented FBA history, and why immigration conversations always seem to fall back on Black Americans footing the bill. Whether it’s ICE policies, Democratic Party pressure, or long-standing attempts to blur lineage, this video breaks down how FBA is constantly expected to carry burdens that don’t belong to us. Stay locked in as we unpack the misinformation, the false historical claims, and the sudden interest in FBA unity only when immigration issues hit the fan. Reparations, delineation, and FBA lineage remain the priority—no matter who’s trying to redirect the movement.

A Tether is a racially black individual who attaches him or herself undeserving to the achievements of Black Americans, while not belonging genealogically to the group. These are Black people with lineage from other nations than our own, who take credit for cultural innovations like Hip Hop, HBCU band culture, and all other aspects of Indigenous Black American culture. Those who display our culture while denying it exists. Kai Cenat, the streamer, is a perfect example of what a tether is. Their non Black equivalent is called a "culture vulture". It is my position that instead of painting everyone with one brush, we should engage people where they are, when applicable. There are many African and Caribbean people who support delineation; the sins of the father should not be visited upon them. In other words, we should not be online drilling them for what someone else in their group said to us, when that is not how they feel toward us, as an individual. We welcome outside support for delineation wherever it comes from, and condemn its opposite wherever it is found, even if it is found among members of our own group as Foundational Black Americans.
Dwann B - Too Short: New York Rap Was the Blueprint on What Not to Do
When Too Short first stepped into the rap game, he didn’t look to New York for inspiration — he used it as the example of what not to do. In his own words, whatever NYC was doing, he was going the other way. That mindset helped birth a West Coast attitude, flow, and sound that wasn’t trying to imitate the East — it was intentionally rejecting it. This episode digs into the early mentality of Too Short, why he set that rule, what he saw in New York’s rap scene that pushed him in another direction, and how that single decision helped shape Oakland’s sonic identity and, ultimately, West Coast hip-hop as a whole. We’ll explore the philosophies, the culture clash, the regional tension, and how a young rapper from Oakland created a lane by breaking the rules instead of following them. |
